I feel very honoured to have links with the beautiful Sacred Heart Church, Madurai. I visited in 2008, 2017, and again in 2019, but my wife Lorna’s family have been associated with Sacred Heart church for a much longer time. Lorna received her First Holy Communion in 1971 at Sacred Heart Church and her parents, James and Daphne Mullins were married there in 1962. Many of the family’s relatives are interred at the cemetery opposite Railway Colony and to this day, her brother Tommy Mullins, his wife, Bethann and their two sons Dion and Dylan attend Sacred Heart Church every week.
I also have the privilege of having been included on the WhatsApp group for many years now. The daily posts, prayers, honour of Saints’
Days and the beautiful music videos encourage me every single day. It’s a truly blessed group! I would like to thank everybody in Sacred Heart Church for the welcome myself and my family received every time we visited and for the friendship I feel in being in the group.
