Discovery of the Crypt Church below Sacred Heart Church

Based on the deliberations of the 3 Parish Council General Body Meetings conducted on 11th July 2026, 12th July 2026 and 27th July 2026, all the willing parishioners and the Pilgrims were divided into 10 Centenary Jubilee Committees. There was an inspiration at the mind of the Parish Priest that if the accounts of an ancient crypt were to be true, it could be converted into an Adoration Chapel -downstairs. As per the decisions arrived at we, after having collected the information about the location of the Crypt Church, started drlling the floor of the right Wing of the Church. Upon hearing a different sound, we stopped drilling and removed the huge cement slab by the crowbar. What a miracle! A Crypt Church was discovered in its immacualte condition. No gas! No insects inside! Not even a fly; or a reptile or a rodent, which are very common to be found in dark dungeon rooms! It is a Miracle; that the divine Lord had willed to be present for ever in the Monstrance, where Eucharistic Adoration will be held continuously. We have 3 Centenary Memorial Projects, namely, 1. Construction of Adoration Chapel 2. Construction of Centenary Arch and 3. Construction of Sacred Heart Grotto. We depend solely on the donation of the Anglo Indian Community, the former parishioners and the Pilgrim Donors. – Fr. M. John Diraviam.
