The Seventh Gift: His Mission

From the Sacred Heart of Jesus
flows the gift of mission –
a call that sends us,
a fire that cannot be contained.

“As the Father has sent me,
so I send you” (John 20:21).
His words are not only for the few,
but for all who love and follow Him.

He shares with us His own desire,
that all may know the Father’s love (John 17:26).
His pierced heart opens the way,
inviting us to go forth in love.

We are His hands to heal,
His voice to speak peace,
His feet to walk with the poor,
His presence among the broken (Romans 10:15).

The mission is not ours alone—
it begins in prayer,
grows in compassion,
and bears fruit in witness (2 Corinthians 5:20).

Let us go, not with fear,
but with the power of His Spirit (Acts 1:8),
carrying His heart within us,
to the ends of the earth.
