Parish Priest’s Message – First Friday – 3 (English)

The Third Gift of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus

The Gift of His Dwelling

Jesus knocks at the door of our hearts (Revelation 3:20),
a quiet call, a gentle invitation.
“If anyone loves me, he will keep my word,” He says,
“and my Father will love him” (John 14:23).

In the sacred mystery of His love,
He promises to make His home in us.
Not as a visitor who leaves,
but as one who abides forever (John 15:4).

We are temples of His Spirit,
His dwelling place on earth (1 Corinthians 6:19).
Christ longs to fill us with His fullness,
to root us in love and grace (Ephesians 3:17-19).

His Sacred Heart beats within,
bringing peace that the world cannot give (John 14:27).
“Remain in me, as I remain in you,”
He whispers, the vine to its branches (John 15:5).

When He dwells in us,
our hearts are no longer our own.
He transforms us into vessels of His mercy,
witnesses of His hope and light (2 Corinthians 4:7).

May we welcome Him with open hearts,
allowing His love to shape our lives.
For His dwelling in us is a gift beyond measure,
a foretaste of eternal communion with Him (Colossians 1:27).
